Tourmaline

Tourmaline crystallizes in the form of vertically striated prismatic
crystals. The colors range thru the spectrum from clear to black,
pinks to reds, pale to deep green, blues, yellow, orange and brown.
It is often found in multiple combinations of colors. It is a family of
aluminum silicate minerals mixed with various metals (which accounts
for color variations) and usually found as crystals in granite rocks.
When viewing a Tourmaline Crystal from the side it will appear to be
transparent. If view from end of crystal, it looks opaque. When heated
or rubbed, it polarizes – that is one end of crystal will attract like a
magnet, the other end will repel.

The long striated lines of the crystalline formation of Tourmaline is
one of the reasons it possesses so much power. The lines channel
electrical beams of light that will immediately transform denser
vibrations into positive currents of energy. Tourmaline's message is:
Align yourself with the forces of light and channel that radiance into
your world and into your life. It will build the rainbow bridge upon which
the soul can traverse and express its multidimensional forms.

Rubellite or Red Tourmaline – to lend energy to the body and strengthen
The will.

Emotional and spiritual. Also, fosters prosperity and success in business.

Schorl or Black Tourmaline – is protective and absorbs negativity when
charged for that purpose.

Indicolite or Blue Tourmaline - transmits the blue ray of peace more
powerfully than any other stone. A long, slender wand with gradiated
blue shades is most powerful.

green or blue "rind" surrounding a pink or red core. There may also be
a ring of white or clear tourmaline separating the outer and inner colors.
