Moonstone

Moonstone is a part of feldspar group exhibiting chatoyancy and a milky sheen.
It is found in various colors – clear (or white), grays and peachy-pink most
frequently.

Magickally moonstones are used to heighten ability to use divinatory tools –
Scrying balls or mirrors, tarot cards, runes, etc.

Moonstone energy is balancing, introspective, reflective and lunar. It is a
stone for hoping and wishing, and allows one to absorb that which is needed - although not necessarily that which is wanted.

It is a talisman of good fortune and can be used as a traveler’s protective
charm.

When feeling emotionally overextended, try using moonstone to regain balance.

Beware that holding anger within yourself can cause your moonstone to lose its silvery sheen. Moonstone assists in the mastery of emotions by bringing them
under control of Higher Will instead of repressing or expressing them.

She is the stone of the Moon Goddess and imparts all that is feminine,
mysterious, and loving in a gentle nurturing way. It is best to attune her
powers by the phases of the moon.

Moonstone is best set in silver because of Lunar associations. It hard enough
to be durable in daily wear. It can be found as cabochons or beads, sometimes
faceted beads to show off the chatoyancy.
