Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is hydrous copper silicate and like its cousins Turquoise and
Malachite is found near copper deposits. Its colors range from blue to green
and are sometimes brown and black. The best specimens are known also as
gem silica. This form is harder and will hold a good polish and is generally
clearer brighter in color.

Chrysocolla is linked with tranquility, serenity and peace. She represents
the water element as manifested in clear, calm bodies of water such as lakes
and ponds. She embodies the feminine energies of soft, quiet strength and
deep subconscious wisdom, the moon, the emotions and the yin energies.

Gem Silica is highest evolved form of the turquoise color, manifesting the
deep blue color of the ocean waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands.
She brings peace to the mind and heart.

Use as cooling stone use to lower fevers, heal burns, neutralize anger and
calm frazzled nerves.

Astrological Signs of Gemini. Bridge between Fourth and Fifth chakras.
Chrysocolla is soft stone much like turquoise. Can be worn as jewelry, but with
care. The Gem Silica form is usually stronger because it includes quartz. It
will hold a polish better and be stronger as stone in jewelry.
