Cat's Eye is either the mineral Chrysoberyl or a variety of quartz which
exhibits chatoyancy usually caused by the inclusion of straight fibers of
asbestos. The color range is endless. Some are natural, some dyed. The
characteristic which defines this stone is the band of light or dark which
seems to move across the stone as it is moved in the light. Cat’s Eye may be
either Tiger’s Eye or Hawkseye, but is separated from them because it has
only one band of opalescence.

Magickally, keep with money to guard and increase wealth. Excellent talisman
