Aquamarine is a variety of the mineral beryl (along with Emerald). She ranges
in color from light blue through mid-tones of bluish-green.

Magickally, Aquamarine is worn or carried as a protective amulet while sailing
or flying over water. Tuck a piece into your suitcase to guard against storms.
Because of her color, Aquamarine is associated with the calming effects of
the sea and traditionally used to soothe, calm and alleviate fears and phobias.
She connects us to the ocean even if we live far from it.

Aquamarine is an excellent stone for meditation. Hold or wear to calm the
emotions and help the subconscious to be heard.

Associated with Astrological signs of Gemini, Pisces and Aquarius. Fifth and/or

Aquamarine has hardness of 7 ½ to 8, which makes it excellent for any type of jewelry. Magickally cleanse in salt water because of its connection to the sea.
If stone is set in silver do not soak in salt water.
